Had the Rachel Maddow show on in the background and had my ears perk up when I heard that Lars Ulrich would be interviewed on the show.

Outside of getting inducted into the 2009 Rock n Roll Hall of Fame… I couldn’t think about what he could get interviewed about.

They both waxed about being libral… but what intregued me most was how fucking small he is.

I think he has a 9″ shoulder span.  Look at how huge his head looks.

The Motorcycle Shop threw their annual “Spring Filng” yesterday…  despite not having all of my local scooter chums there (Hackett, Henry and Robert… who gets a pass for being in Arizona) I made the most of it.

Got a chance to hang out with CoffeeDrink all day, which was awesome. We’re going to be neighbors pretty soon so we caught up on a number of places he wanted me to take Fin to.  (Mostly Sushi, Thai and Indian restaurants) 

All in all, I thought that it wasn’t as good as last years Spring Fling… the route was better but it didn’t  really blow a new part in my hair.   

Maybe it was sleep deprivaion… but the movie “What we do is Secret” a biopic about the Germs was one of the most rewarding flicks I’ve seen in some time.

the best part about watching the movie was getting the itch to find “A Decline of the Western Civilization” (documentary) on Google Video.

I *heart* technology sometimes.

so after not drawing a check in nearly a month and a half… i got paid today.

my current employer has a strange way of deposting checks the first time they cut them out to employees… so I had to get up early to deposit what they didn’t put into my bank through direct deposit.

there’s so much going on these days its hard to sit down at the end of the day and reflect on whats going on.

While recording our last Ekobase Podcast... the fellas and I put together a crack-pot LOST theory that I really wish would come true.

It goes like this.  Ted informed us that the creators of the show will be showing us the front of a mysterious statue in a future show.   There’s some debate as to who or what that will be…  we’re thinking that the face of the statue will be Iron Maiden’s  EDDIE!

The statue would be a nod to their album POWERSLAVE.

If this checks out – we’re hoping to see the episode start with an eye-opening.   If so, we think it would be wise to sync the episode to the album (from the eye opening) and have the two play together so that we can see the hidden messages.
