Rawk, Rawk and Thrice RAWK

After taking a whole month off... Ted, Jaime and I kick it off by talking about a Metal documentary I saw last week. While its good to have a movie on the subject, I felt it fell a little short. This then led to a discussion on another documentary coming out this year called "American Hardcore". Somehow Ted saw past all my talking points and is convinced that I'm fascinated with homosexuality. When not waxin' about gays in Metal and Hardcore music, we get around to talking about Star Wars coming out on DVD and getting to play the new Star Wars LEGO game. Jaime brought up meeting an L.A. 4 at comic con. This goes absolutely nowhere but we get around to talking about Nightmare on Elm Street coming back out on DVD. Despite my attempt to talk about horror films... Ted admits to never having seen any of the Halloween movies... the subject continues onto Friday the 13th and rounds out with Ted and Jaime talking about recent films they caught. Apple released some new iPods... we drop some opinions on the matter. We conclude the show with talk about Little Miss Sunshine, the new iTunes store and birthday wishes for my dear friend EmoV. We had no listener mail this time around... so get to writing me yo.

Sophomore Slump

Recorded way back on August 22nd, Jaime, Ted and I got together to
record the second installment of the Pop Culture podcast. Discussed:
I deem Snakes on a Plane as a bust, Ted argues otherwise, we both
agree it will score big on DVD. Tail end of Summer movies get
discussed...with the exception of "Little Miss Sunshine" there's
dick to catch on the silver screen. Entourage & WEEDS round out our
Television discussion. Both incredible shows that Ted refuses to
catch because he'd rather watch Adult Swim. Ted, Jaime and I close
the show with a very in-depth discussion of Next-Generation gaming.
While not for many, the PS3, the 360 and the Wii get discussed
heavily. If you're looking to make a jump to one of these systems
during the holidays listen in. Closing things out we open up the
mailbag and thank the few listeners that tuned in for our first episode.
