With both my work week and my time with METC at FT. Sam Houston coming to a close… I decided to bring the NERF gun into work today and lit up a couple of co-workers.

There’s talk of a NERF war between 6AM and 7AM tomorrow before we start the work day.  More on this tomorrow…

There’s a lot going on in this photo…  it not only speaks to the frustration of not getting rid of this shitty cough, but how bad this Vicks shit tastes.

A lot of people may not know this but I have a bamboo plant that I talk to daily.  It was a house warming gift that my mom got me when I moved into my apartment and all she asked was that I keep it alive, during the duration I live here…

I’ve managed to come down with my 2nd cold in 2012 this weekend…  it started off as a little chest cough on Friday, but it’s now become a full body malady and I’m not dealing with it very well.

After spending a few hours doing some shopping today - I came home after an early dinner and slept for about 5 hours.  Chivo woke me up just before midnight to tell me he was going to get some late night snacks.

Took this photo just in time.

Made it over to Nano’s today to celebrate Lilly’s (his daughter) 4 year old -b.day party.

I also convinced my sister, her husband (my brolo), Sarah and Chivo to come out with me.  The party was a lot of fun… in addition to the rub on tattoo’s - I also got to sit at a crown-creation-table.  Be warned.. there may be some photos of me on the net leaking very soon.

2012 above all has been a good year for masks.  Had to stop into a Toys R’ Us today to find some birthday gift presents.  While there I also had to check out toys I wouldn’t mind picking up for myself…

Every now and again Amos is known to slip past the front door and make a break for it just outside my apartment.  Today was no different…  the temp just dropped a little and he was feeling frisky.

Had an “All Call” today at work…  this means that the Commander (RADML Navy) gets to inform our assembled staff and workforce how our program is doing and we recognize people who have done awesome things.

It’s held in a huge auditorium and it’s hard sometimes to sit up and always be mindful of having to look attentive.

Today was a special day because I was allowed in a control room above the auditorium - where cameras, microphones and other high tech shit is controlled.

It’s nestled behind a mirror glass at the top of the auditorium so I spent a good time of my afternoon seeking out friends with the overhead camera and playing with my iPhone in the booth.

Truly a good day…

When the Westminster Dog Show rolls around every year, I can’t help but think what life would have been like if I trained Elliot to be a show dog.

I think he may have had some problems doing so because of some white markings he has… and that may disqualify him from being a “true” breed.

He however brings me delight like no other.
